Global Warming and Toxicity Impacts: Peanuts in Georgia, USA Using Life Cycle Assessment

چکیده
Fertilizers and pesticides have been widely used in agriculture production, causing polluted soil, water, atmosphere. This study aims to quantify air emissions from fertilizers applied for peanut production Georgia during selected years (1991, 1999, 2004, 2013, 2018). Specifically, the oral dermal potential impacts pesticide global warming (GWP) impact were investigated. followed ISO 14040 series standards life cycle assessment (LCA) methodology assess six active ingredients (AIs) (2,4-DB, Bentazon, Chlorothalonil, Ethalfluralin, Paraquat, Pendimethalin) one greenhouse gas (nitrous oxide N2O). Their physical chemical characteristics temporal scales greatly influenced toxicity impacts. According low values obtained Henry’s law (KH) vapor pressure (VP), 2,4-dichlorophenoxy butanoic (DB), Pendimethalin, Chlorothalonil a higher on continental scale. The effect factor (EF) exposure was 2,4-DB, Pendimethalin than exposure, according relatively lethal dose (LD50) while EF of Ethalfluralin same their similar LD50.

Global warming in Amazonia: Impacts and Mitigation
Global warming has potentially catastrophic impacts in Amazonia, while at the same time maintenance of the Amazon forest offers one of the most valuable and cost-effective options for mitigating climate change. We know that the El Niño phenomenon, caused by temperature oscillations of surface water in the Pacific, has serious impacts in Amazonia, causing droughts and forest fires (as in 1997-19...
متن کاملActual impacts of global warming on winter wheat yield in Eastern Himalayas
Himalayas, are among the areas most vulnerable to global warming, however, little is knownabout warming impacts on the crops. Therefore, the actual affects of anticipated warming onwinter wheat were tested in Tibet, China. During the period 1988-2012, Tibet region hasexperienced a large increase in daily mean, minimum and maximum temperatures during wheatgrowing seasons by 0.50, 0.67 and 0.51 o...

The main objectives of this task group under SETAC-Europe’s Second Working Group on Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA-WIA2) were to identify and discuss the suitability of toxicological impact measures for human health for use in characterization in LCIA. The current state of the art of defining health indicators in LCIA is summarized in this document, promising approaches are addressed in fur...

probably a change in living conditions. Even in the poorest US communities, most people now live and work in airconditioned buildings, or are at least protected by insect screens. In addition, the spacing of houses and other buildings has increased because modern urban areas have evolved around the motor vehicle. As a result, population density is much lower than in the past, a major impediment...
متن کاملstudy of environmental impacts for potato agroecosystems of iran by using life cycle assessment (lca) methodology
life cycle assessment (lca) had proven to be an appropriate assessment tool for analysis of agri-food products by identifying, quantifying and evaluating the resources consumed and emissions released into the environment. this study was performed for evaluation the environmental impacts of potato agroecosystems based on nitrogen levels by using lca methodology. tuber yield mean during 1999-2013...
